Britain’s Got Talent star Steve Royle bagged the first spot in the final round ahead of the ITV talent show being brought to a close.
The comedian was a firm favourite for many fans who tuned in to watch the Saturday night show, focusing on comedy inspired by modern day happenings, such as remarks made about Chancellor Rishi Sunak.
He made his comedy mark on the audience when he kept dropping several balls.

Meet Steve Royle
Steve is a 51-year-old comedian and juggler from Chorley, Lancashire. He stars in Series 14 of Britain’s Got Talent. Judge David Walliams described Steve as “all the best comedians rolled into one”.
The performer, who has been on the stage for more than 30 years, previously performed as a warm-up act on the Royal Variety performance.
The BGT finalist previously co-written Peter Kay’s comedy Phoenix Nights, alongside Kay himself, and used to used to regularly perform at the Blackpool Theatre.

Steve Royle: Family
Steve has a wife and 3 teenage daughters – his children have featured on the show.
When asked what he would do with the prize money, he told fans “you’re asking the wrong person”.
He is married to wife Janet Maher. The couple became newlyweds in September 2020 and have a child together, Daisy, according to The Sun.
