Britain’s Got Talent has stormed through the audition stage and as of Monday, May 27th, the live shows will take place.

Judge Amanda Holden has had her fair share of acts to take part in, she was sawn in half and sported a very memorable yellow dress throughout the 2019 show.

So, who did Amanda Holden play in Miss Marple? And what else has she acted in?

After Amanda was a guest on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 Breakfast Show in May 2019 the topic of her acting career has come to light.

It’s been 15 years since she played Lucy Eyelesbarrow in the ‘4:50 from Paddington’ episode of Agatha Christie’s Marple.

Now, Amanda is one-quarter of the judging panel on Britain’s Got Talent. She’s also set to take over as co-host of the Heart Radio Breakfast Show from June 2019, following Emma Bunton’s departure.

Amanda Holden in Plebs

The Britain’s Got Talent judge spoke about her upcoming role in Plebs V.

Amanda is set to play ‘Rufina’ – a flirtatious character who the rest of the cast think has killed someone.

Series 5 of plebs is set to air on ITV2 in August 2019.

What else has Amanda acted in?

As well as playing Lucy Eyelesbarrow in Agatha Christie’s Marple, Amanda has a wealth of acting experience under her belt.

Amanda mentioned on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 on May 26th 2019 that she began a career in comedy but it branched off into many other things.

The 48-year-old played Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical 2011, starred in Cutting It from 2002-2004 and even played a character in Eastenders in 1994.
