British comedy-drama The Durrells is based on Gerald Durrell’s three books, ‘the Corfu trilogy’ which detail his family’s four years on the Greek Island of Corfu.
The show started in 2016 with the fourth season coming to a close in 2019.
Set in the 1940s, Margo Durrell is tasked with looking after Maud in episode 4.

Who plays Maud in The Durrells?
The Durrells’ Maud is played by British actress Madeline Holliday.
She was born on March 25th 2002.
What else has Madeline starred in?
Madeline is probably most recognised for playing Emily Zipzer in the TV series Hank Zipzer from 2014-2016.
She also starred in the short film ‘Toni with an I’ in 2019.
Madeline began acting in 2014 when she was just 12 years old. Her first appearance was as Abi McBride in Holby City.

Season 4 of The Durrells is made up of 6 episodes.
Maud appears in episodes 4 and 5 as Margo Durrell’s pupil.
The series finale airs Sunday, May 12th at 8 pm on ITV with the family leaving Corfu and returning to Dorset.
