The latest news, gossip and updates from ITV’s sizzling dating show Love Island. It brings together a group of young, hot singletons in a holiday villa as they couple up and try to find the next Mr or Mrs Right.
Since the start, fans have seen relationships blossom, arguments spill over and bombshell dumpings by the fire pit – reality TV doesn’t get better than this.
The ITV2 show has a summer and Winter Love Island special, and has seen the likes of former contestants Molly-Mae Hague, Maura Higgins and Chris Hughes embark on new careers after their start in the villa. The winning couple who makes it to the end is awarded £50,000.
Last year, we saw Davide and Ekin-Su take home the Love Island 2022 crown on August 1. They then joined the long list of Islanders who are still together after surviving villa shenanigans. They beat Gemma Owen and Luca Bish (second), Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack (third) and Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page (fourth).
Winter Love Island is back in 2023 following a two-year hiatus, and TV presenter Maya Jama is taking over from former host Laura Whitmore. It will be the first year Maya hosts the dating show. In 2023, contestants are saying goodbye to the normal Majorcan villa and are instead heading into a luxury £1.2 million mansion based in South Africa for the winter sunshine, as they patiently wait for a text.
But more importantly, are they going to find their type on paper?
