1. Northern Cindy’s Happy Ending
Nicknamed ‘Northern Cindy’ for her deep Leeds accent and love of the Yorkshire slang, Cindy proved an inspirational character during her appearance on the show.
Having explained the heart-felt hardship of having both parents diagnosed with critical illnesses, her date Elan looked like the perfect match to give her some loving support.
And, hoorah, at the end of the episode we watched in jubilation as it was announced that the pair continued dating for six months – and counting!

In the latest episode, fans were blown away by the positive attitude of 97-year-old Richard.
The WW2 veteran had lost his first wife to cancer and a second wife to pneumonia but was still hopeful of finding love to soothe a lonely soul.
His initial introduction to the camera had social media in tears.
Richard is too pure for this world😭😭❤️ #FirstDates

Lyn’s Shocking Revelation
When 17-year military expert Lyn told the First Dates waiting staff that she was six months pregnant, we knew it was going to be an explosive episode.
Lyn went head first into her date with Steve, tasked with bringing up the delicate subject that there was a growing baby hiding beneath the tablecloth.
So much respect and admiration for Lyn having a donor baby. An incredibly brave and inspiring example of making your own luck and doing something about an aspect of your life that you’re not happy with ❤️ #firstdates

If you thought Lyn’s revelations were a shock, Steve’s reaction was equally as outstanding.
Super Steve took the news that Lyn was pregnant with a donor baby like an absolute trooper.
He swept any concerns immediately under the table, adding that he would “embrace it all”.
Steve restoring everybody’s faith in human nature.
That “speech” was quite incredible.#firstdates

The ‘Related Couple’
Okay, so they probably aren’t actually related.
Jordan and Will’s date hit a major turning point when they realised they had the same last name, alongside strong family ties in Kingston, Jamaica.
Combined with the fact that Will looked identical to Jordan’s brother, it wasn’t exactly a match made in heaven.
That was a shame as they got on so well but she's so right – he totally looks like her brother! 🤣🤣#firstdates

Few final scenes – where the couples are asked if they want to see each other again – end like this….
