The BBC Three series Glow Up sees ten aspiring make-up artists battle it out to be named Britain’s next make-up star.
The series is hosted by Strictly Come Dancing winner Stacey Dooley, and each week the contestants take on real-world professional assignments and creative tasks.
The winner of Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make Up Star will bag themselves a contract assisting some of the world’s top make-up artists. However, the contestants already have plenty of make-up experience under their belts.

Steph
- Age: 27
- Profession: Specialist hair and media make-up student

Bio: Steph is a specialist hair and media make-up student at University College Birmingham.
She was named editorial student make-up artist of the year a the National Make Up Awards in 2016.
During her studies, she has worked on TV shows such as Britain’s Got Talent, and has worked as a special effects make-up artist in the DVD feature film The Exorcism of Karen Walker.
Paige
- Age: 20
- Profession: Retail assistant

Bio: Paige currently works as a retail assistant and is an aspiring make-up artist.
Her mum wanted her to follow in the footsteps of her brother and sister and become a doctor or a lawyer, however, Paige wanted to follow her dream and prove to her family that not everybody needs to go to university.
Tiff
- Age: 23
- Profession: MAC cosmetics / social media influencer

Bio: Tiff lives in Nottingham and works at MAC cosmetics in John Lewis.
She has a huge online following, especially on her Instagram account where she credits herself as a social media influencer.
Her make-up skills are entirely self-taught, and each look created for her Instagram account takes between four and twelve hours to finish.

- Profession: Make-up artist

Bio: Brandon is a make-up artist based in Blackpool.
He is has a huge social media following, with over 75,000 Instagram followers, as well as a Youtube channel where he shares make-up tutorial videos.
Leigh
- Age: 28
- Profession: Freelance make-up artist

Bio: Leigh lives in Manchester and works as a freelance make-up artist and painter.
He shares much of his work on Instagram and says that he’s always loved being creative.
Nikki
- Profession: Make-up artist

Bio: Nikki lives in London and works as a make-up artist.
She has a massive Instagram following, and shares her incredible looks with her 172 thousand followers.
Mathieu

- Profession: Special effects make-up artist

Bio: Mathieu has lived in France and Tokyo before he moved to London where he works as a special effects make-up artist.
In the past, he has worked as a freelance make-up artist for many TV shows, music videos and promotional events.
Belinda

Bio: Belinda fits in her passion for make-up around motherhood and her full-time job.
