Alexander is one of the most advanced glassblowers in the series, having worked in the field for over 15 years!

After graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Glass from the Rhode Island School of Design, he turned his attention to furthering his artist horizons as the Massachusettes Institute of Technology (MIT).

At MIT – one of the most prestigious universities in the world – he obtained a Masters of Science degree in Visual Arts. Now he combines all his learned techniques and ideas in his glass art, combined to make some rather spectacular pieces. Science, technology, and history all play a significant part in both his research and his art.

Now Alexander is a college professor and visiting lecturer. He led the glass department at the University of the Arts in Philly from 2010 to 2017, but now tours the world participating in artists residencies and teaching.

Alexander is a prize-winning artist

Alexander is not just praised for his work as an educator, as his glass work is prize-winning!
