The cast of Selling Sunset is getting some serious competition in the next month. With Buying Beverly Hills, headed by Mauricio Umansky – yes, Kyle Richard’s husband – coming to screens on November 4, they might steal the crown from Chrishell Stause and her gang for best workplace drama.
On the other side of the world, Zeina Khoury is coming in hot on October 27. With multi-million dollar listings at her agency, she’s the realtor to keep an eye on. We demand a tour of the breathtaking properties, Dubai Bling!
Dubai Bling’s Zeina Khoury is a real estate queen
Born December 13, 1983, in Lebanon, Zeina is 38 years old and moved to Dubai in 2007 after graduating from Notre Dame University – Louaize due to conflicts in her home country.
With a degree in banking and finance, a path into real estate wasn’t on the cards. Desperate to break into the industry, Zeina took a massive gamble in accepting a job at the company, developing the five-star hotel Palazzo Versace Dubai. She had an unstable salary, but the leap of faith led her to acquire High Mark Real Estate in 2009.
As the company’s CEO and chief growth officer, she has transformed High Mark into a major industry player with “more than $2.5 billion in deal value”, writes the website.
When she’s not showing her latest properties, Zeina is a TV and radio personality throughout the Gulf region. Tune into her weekly Instagram Live for real estate tips on Property Talks With Zeina.
Netflix advertises the cast as “self-made millionaires” but Arabian Business claims only four members have hit the one million mark: Loujain Adada ($3.8 million), Kris and Brianna Fade ($1.3 million), and Ebraheem Al Samadi ($50m).
Meanwhile, Zeina’s net worth is reportedly estimated at $310K.
Starting a family has changed her life enormously
As a working mother, Zeina admits she feels mom guilt at times with her work-life balance. Her son, Joe, was born around 2016 and she also has a four-year-old daughter named Alexa.
Explaining how growing a family has affected her work, she claims it has made her more patient: “My leadership style changed tremendously. I started understanding the women that work with me better. Now I’m more understanding, I’m more patient and I don’t take things to heart.”
