The Rhythm and Flow Netflix judges are getting hip-hop fans and beyond so excited about the forthcoming series and here’s why.

This American talent show will search for the future of hip-hop talent. It’s the first talent show of its kind in its dedication to the genre.

Rhythm and Flow Netflix judges: Cardi B

The first of the three judges is the highly acclaimed rapper and singer Cardi B.

With a Grammy and numerous other accolades under her belt, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar – her real name – has an eye for talent and will work hard to discover hip-hop’s newest breakout.

Rhythm and Flow Netflix judges: Chance the Rapper

It’s certainly a varied cast, with the second panel judge announced as Chance the Rapper.

He has three hit albums under his belt and has worked with the best of the best in the hip-hop game. He boasts some serious talent, and he’s here to identify some himself.

Hopefully, he uses the show to take some future talent under his wing.

Last but not least, we have T.I.

The rapper helped popularise trap music, which is the most popular hip-hop sub-genre today.

Who knows, maybe T.I. will see the future of trap in these talented contestants.

What else do we know?

Although no official release date has been announced, it’s anticipated to arrive October 2019.

It will consist of ten episodes, and some have speculated that Netflix may allow us to vote for the winner. It’s tricky to calculate how this would work.

The streaming service has been getting interactive as of late, so it’s certainly not worth ruling out.
