- Carla Lamont is a contestant on this years MasterChef. She lives on the Isle of Mull in Fionnphort and is the owner and chef of Ninth Wave Restaurant.
Carla has owned Ninth Wave Restaurant since May 2009 and she previously worked at Argyll Hotel as their head chef. Carla is originally from Regina, in Canada. Carla has four siblings and now spends her spare time cooking dishes which she shares on Instagram.
Carla is married to a Scottish fisherman called Jonny, they got married to the skirl of bagpipes on an ancient fishing pier on the Isle of Mull. Carla has also been a performance poet and published The Body Banquet poems, which
