With Christmas around the corner, one thing we can look forward to is good television, with a lineup of Christmas Specials including Bake Off.
The Christmas Special will look a bit different this year, as hosting it will be newcomer to the show, Matt Lucas, and a fill-in presenter as Noel Fielding takes paternity leave.

Bake Off Christmas Special date revealed
The Great British Bake Off’s Christmas special will air Christmas Eve (Thursday, December 24th) at 7:40PM on Channel 4.
However, Radio Times states that the date is not confirmed but the show will air between 21st-27th December. You can catch up on previous Christmas Specials on All4 player.
This December, you can expect the episode to be extra festive as there will be a magical performance of Silent Night by pop star Alexandra Burke.
Bake Off Christmas Special cast revealed
Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith will, of course, be judging the Christmas Special, and Matt Lucas will be hosting alongside someone new this time.
Bake Off: The Professionals presenter Tom Allen will be presenting with Matt Lucas, as he is filling in for Noel Fielding who is on paternity leave.
The contestants this year are: Jamie Finn and Rosie Brandreth-Poynter from 2019, Ruby Bhogal from 2018 and James Hillery from 2017.
