Who is Silky Nutmeg Ganache?
Spoilers are ahead, look away now if you’re not up to date!
If you’re a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race, chances are you’re already very familiar with the controversial season 11 star.
However, Silky is somewhat of a Marmite contestant and has not had an easy ride with viewers during her Drag Race stint.
Is Silky Nutmeg Ganache annoying?
Due to her often overbearing personality, it’s easy to understand why so many viewers are put off by this particular queen.
Silky’s attention-seeking behaviour was first seen during pop-superstar Miley Cyrus’ surprise appearance, and she hasn’t slowed down since.
Although loud-voices are appreciated on a reality show such as Drag Race, dominating every single conversation can become pretty tiresome.
Silky’s endless opinions on her fellow queens can also seem mighty hypocritical, especially when her own looks aren’t exactly always on point.
But are we being too hard on the Drag Race 2019 finalist?

Silky Nutmeg Ganache is so loud, obnoxious and has so much screen time, she is basically the reverse Naomi Smalls.

Is the Drag Race star actually pretty fabulous?
One could argue that Silky’s OTT personality is simply part of her drag persona, and after all, the aim of the series is to find the next drag superstar.
Also, the only thing worse than an annoying contestant is a boring contestant, and with all her faults, you certainly couldn’t accuse Silky of being that.
Another fabulous trait of the Drag Race finalist is her dedication to the art of drag, and whether or not you dig Silky’s runway looks, she does throw absolutely everything into it.
And If we’re being honest, one major appeal of RuPaul’s Drag Race is the workroom antics, and Silky has most definitely delivered in the drama department.
So with all her faults, it’s worth remembering that Drag Race is all about entertainment and without Silky Nutmeg Ganache’s presence, season 11 quite simply wouldn’t be the same.
