With series 24 of Made in Chelsea bringing a whole host of new faces into our lives, fans have been outspoken about the cast members they miss from the show.
One of the most popular cast members over the past few seasons has undeniably been Sam Thompson.
So is Sam really gone from Made in Chelsea?
Here’s everything you need to know about his departure and what’s in store for the Chelsea star.

So, has Sam Thompson left Made in Chelsea?
Sadly Sam decided to leave the hit show after five years of entertaining audiences.
At the age of 26, Sam is looking to move into a more mature headspace, as he admitted to Heart Breakfast, a decision which was largely affected by his breakup with fellow MIC star Habbs last year.
He also chose to leave at the same time as his elder sister and Chelsea legend Louise, who is moving on to new business ventures and is looking to settle down with fiancée Ryan Libbey.
Could Sam return to Made in Chelsea?
This seems unlikely, as in a recent interview with OK! he seemed less than enthused about his Chelsea castmates.
In the interview, Sam said:
The crowd round here aren’t very nice – everyone is trying to be the next social thing.
And although Sam said “the door is not shut at all” with Made in Chelsea, we don’t think he’ll be rushing back any time soon.
New ventures for Sam
Sam is no stranger to other TV shows, having been on the likes of Celebs Go Dating this year.
But it was his stint on Celebrity SAS, that proved Sam Thompson’s up for anything!
We look forward to seeing where Sam goes next, even if it’s not back into the MIC family.
