With Valentine’s Day just around corner, what better way to wine and dine a woman than to whisk her away on a romantic trip to Paris.

A flowing long dress, slender red rose and the ultimate dinner table with a view. Oh, and another woman.

Yep, on this week’s The Bachelor episode and Arie Luyendyk set about scripting a double date with two woman who quite literally despised one-other.

In one of the most dramatic The Bachelor episodes we have ever seen, Kendall and Krystal went face-to-face – with little Arie sandwiched in-between – to decide who would remain in the contest.

Not only a nightmare when it came to splitting the bill, this threesome date was sickeningly awkward to watch.

Heading into the date and Krystal was buoyed by her extreme levels of false confidence, adamant throughout the six-episode series that she and Arie had forged the strongest relationship out of all the contestants.

But, having narrowly escaped the boot last week for calling Arie a liar in a foul tempered rant, we pretty much all wanted Krystal’s self-confidence to turn around and bite her in the face.

Ten minutes into the date and the only face biting going on was between Krystal and Arie.

Ah . . .

Locked into each others jaws with tongues ‘n’ everything, Krystal had hunted down her man first, as the date started in a sort of maze within beautiful French countryside.

A bit weird, but after a period of wandering around lost and alone, Kendall hooked up with the other two at a stunning chateau. Time to get down with the bitching.

The date started with Arie confronting Krystal about her teeny-weeny psychopathic outburst at the bowling alley, to which she somehow turned into a choreographed point on how Kendall isn’t “emotionally available enough” for a relationship.

Right.

As Krystal continued to use her date time to callously point out her oppositions flaws, Kendall reacted like no-other The Bachelor contestant has EVER done.

Instead of knuckling down and getting into a brawl of hateful words, Kendall instead empathised with her love rival, telling Krystal that when she says mean things it “doesn’t mean you win, it just means you hurt someone.”

In the most un-Bachelor sentence ever strung together, Kendall said that Krystal had a great deal of beauty in her and that she hoped she could find inner peace.

WTF!!!

Although Arie couldn’t make up his mind straight away, presumably because he needed to liaise with his pair of advice and counselling chimpanzees, the decision on who to keep was pushed back to dinner.

Maintaining her composure when yet again faced with the devil however, Kendall came out of the short second dinner date with the rose.

Here she is, still in the show, and clutching her a budget rose with pride. You go girl!

Lauren B, Bekah and Kendall had all received roses before the Rose Ceremony began. Tia, Bekah and Seinne were awarded with roses at the ceremony, leaving six girls remaining and Krystal, Chelsea and Jenna sent packing.
