Celebrity Gogglebox

Celebrity Gogglebox is a spin-off of the hit reality series Gogglebox. The original Channel 4 show is a BAFTA-award winning program where viewers at home watch groups of family and friends react to the biggest TV shows of the week.

Gogglebox, which first aired in 2013, has had 13 seasons so far, whereas the Celebrity spin-off released its fourth season in 2022. The program was originally narrated by Caroline Aherne until she sadly passed away in 2016. After, Craig Cash took over the role to narrate the show.

There has been a long list of A-list stars that have taken part, including Babatune Aleshe and Eddie Boxshall. Who can forget Rylan Clark and his hilarious mom in his Essex home, or lovebirds Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon? Other Celebrity Gogglebox cast featured Denise van Outen, Martin and Roman Kemp, and Liv and Nick Grimshaw. Even the colourful Shaun Ryder and Love Island’s former host Laura Whitmore couldn’t resist the chance to be on the program.

The Channel 4 original has bagged two BAFTAs and four National Television Awards. Other spin-off shows include Gogglesprogs and Vlogglebox.

The hit reality show had celebs sit down on the sofa in 2019 and never looked back. After four seasons in just three years, It’s easy to predict the next season is likely to come out each springtime.
