Chrisley Knows best follows entrepreneur and real estate developer Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie. Fans were brought along to meet their picture-perfect family, who have everything they would ever need. No matter how much money they had in the bank, the family still faces real issues and real-life drama day-to-day.

Todd, who was known for being a ‘control freak’ likes things to go his way and doesn’t mind upsetting any of his family members to ensure it runs smoothly. But despite his micromanaging style, which may work for his businesses, it may not work out for his family.

Todd and Julie share four children; Savannah Chrisley, Lindsie Chrisley, Chase Chrisley and Grayson Chrisley. The duo also adopted granddaughter Chloe, who is the daughter of Kyle, and raised her as their own. And we can’t forget Nanny Faye, a Chrisley Knows Best fan-favorite, who doesn’t mind speaking her mind.

Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted of fraud and tax evasion in Atlanta and sentenced to spend a combined total of 19 years in prison in 2022. The couple were also ordered to pay more than $17 million in restitution to the banks they swindled millions from, according to court documents. Their accountant, Peter Tarantino was found guilty of defrauding the United States and willfully filing false tax returns. Tarantino was ordered to serve three years in jail.

The duo were found guilty of tax evasion and defrauding community banks out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans. Julie Chrisley was also convicted of wire fraud and obstruction of justice.
