Todrick Hall is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, YouTuber and Choreographer, gaining his fame firstly on the hit TV show American Idol in 2009.
Since then Todrick has worked on RuPaul’s Drag Race as a choreographer, starred as Lola in Kinky Boots on Broadway and much, much more. Todrick isn’t afraid to be himself, which has helped him gain 3.43 million YouTube subscribers and over 722,000,000 views!
Most recently the star has been on The Greatest Dancer as a Dance Captian, alongside Cheryl, Oti Mabuse and Matthew Morrison. The new series of The Greatest Dancer is due to air in early 2020. In the last decade it appears Todrick has done a lot, so where did Todrick come from?

Who is Todrick Hall?
Todrick Hall was born in Arlington, Texas on the 4th of April 1985. His family consists of his mother, father and one brother.
He was raised by his mother and stepfather. Todrick knew he was gay from a young age and was always happy when playing with dolls. Although, he was often worried about what his family would say regarding homosexuality.
He came out at 15 years old and it took his family a few years to accept this. However, it appears they still have a strong relationship now.
When did he become famous?
Todrick first made a YouTube video back in 2008 called It’s Hard to Say Goodbye and it was instantly popular, boosting his following up to 2 million on the platform. Auditioning for American Idol in 2009 was where he got his big break. Although he did not win the show, it allowed him to make his mark on the professional world.
He now has his own fandom called ‘Toddierz’ across social media.
