Molly Hocking proved herself to be the top dog of The Voice UK 2019.

Despite her nerves throughout the competition, she triumphed in all of her performances and took home the win in Final episode (Saturday, April 6th).

Here’s everything you need to know about Molly and what she will do next!

How old is Molly?

At just 18 years old, Molly Grace Hocking was the youngest of all The Voice finalists.

But don’t let her young age deceive you, as all of the judges noticed her vocal maturity and professionality.

Her birthday is on December 14th, making her a Sagittarius – fitting for Molly’s creative and positive spirit.

Where is she from?

Molly is from St. Ives in Cornwall.

She lives with her parents and her two younger brothers, Harry and Ted.

They appear to be a very close family and Molly regularly shares family snaps to her Instagram, @molly.hocking.music.

What does Molly do?

So far, Molly has dedicated her life to performing.

When she’s not performing, Molly works part-time in her mum’s shop in St. Ives.

She has been acting since the age of five, appearing in television series such as Doc Martin, Delicious and Rosalind Pilcher, and has been a member of the Kids R Us youth theatre company since 2009.

Molly began her singing career back in 2012 and made it to the finals of the national Teen Star competition in 2014, showing her promise from a young age.

Have I seen Molly on another show?

The Voice isn’t the first TV talent show Molly has gone up for.

She auditioned for X Factor back in 2017 and made it to the Bootcamp rounds.

But unfortunately, it was not the right fit for Molly and she was sent home.

Let’s hope she has more luck this time around on The Voice.

She comes from a talented family

Her brother Harry Hocking plays for the Exeter Chiefs’ Under-18 division.

The youngest brother Ted is set to become a rugby star as well.

Looks like talent and ambition runs in their family genes!
