The X Factor auditions are back!

That means we are in for some pretty terrible singers, which we can’t say we are too displeased about. They are hilarious. It’s the bad singers that make the audition stages so funny to watch, right?

However, it does also mean we are in for some pretty great acts, too. And we’ve already had one of the first brilliant auditions of X Factor 2018.

The duo Misunderstood took to the X Factor stage to perform their own, original song Juicy Fruit. And the crowd loved it.

Who Are Misunderstood?

They are a duo from London. Together, they are Misunderstood. Separately, they are Stefan and Jeff. Stefan is on the right and Jeff is on the left:

The duo’s musical inspirations are Michael Jackson, Usher and Destiny’s Child. Not a bad trio of influencers.

Apparently, though, the duo have already been on Britain’s Got Talent and have worked with Will.i.am. What are they doing on X Factor, then, right?

The judges and the audience loved them regardless, and they weren’t the only ones who enjoyed them…

How Did Their Audition Go?

As soon as the two took to the stage, you could tell it was going to be good. Louis Tomlinson said they looked cool before they even spoke and Ayda Field declared that she loved their swag.

As for the actual audition? See for yourself…

It’s safe to say, it went pretty damn well.

What Did the Judges Say?

The judges all loved it. Stefan and Jeff ended their energetic performance by flipping off of the stage and landing in front of the panel of judges. Robbie even gave them a hug!

All four judges then embraced the duo, with Louis smiling widely and Simon probably thinking about drawing up contracts already. We wouldn’t put it past him.

As expected, all four judges gave them a resounding yes.

What Does Juicy Fruit Mean?

The song Juicy Fruit, which they wrote themselves, is all about celebrating the “big curves” and the “juicy parts” on someone’s body.

In an age where body positivity is more important than ever, it’s no wonder the crowd roared as loud as they did when they heard that. People love Juicy Fruit!
