Who is Bobby Lytes?

Music Artist and songwriter, Bobby Lytes, was born on the 24th of October 1990 in Homestead, Florida.

He is a famous rapper, known for his hit songs such as Way Up and No Comment.

Bobby isn’t the only musician in his family, as his cousin is American rapper, Trina, who is also a cast member on Love & Hip Hop!

Bobby Lyte’s parents are Dominican, and he was raised by his single mother, as his father was rarely on the scene.

Who is Bobby Lyte’s father?

Bobby’s father’s name is unknown, however, we do know that growing up, his father struggled with drug addiction, ended up in prison multiple times, and that he does not have a close relationship with him.

His father is currently in prison, and during the trailer for the next episode of Love & Hip Hop, we see a conversation with Bobby Lytes where he is told that the prison is letting inmates out who have committed non-violent offences.

Bobby is told to get a lawyer, to which he questions: “If I get a lawyer? First of all, lawyers are expensive.”

LAHH fans react to the scene

The Love & Hip Hop: Miami clip has got fans talking…

There has been some hate and speculation towards Bobby, as to why he would not pay for a lawyer for his own father.

On Love & Hip Hop’s Instagram comments for their latest trailer, many users have a lot to say on the topic.

One commented: “That’s crazy he said that, lawyers are expensive indeed but no price [is too] expensive to have my father free.”

However, others have stuck up for Bobby. A viewer said: “Bobby probably says the thing about the lawyer cause he felt like his dad wasn’t there for him so why should he pay for the lawyer.”

Another fan added: “We don’t know how close he was with his father for us to be speaking without info.”
