MTV are churning out yet another reality TV series with Refreshers Week launching on Monday, September 24th.

It promises to be a typically loud and crude MTV staple, following the lives of 25-30 year-olds as they’re thrown back into halls to take on Freshers’ Week at uni.

It may sound like fun and games but hangovers are a totally different beast when you’re in your mid-twenties.

Here is everything you need to know about MTV’s Refreshers Week.

What is Refreshers Week?

The brand new MTV show will see eight contestants living together in a student house over Freshers’ Week.

However, these so-called students are all aged between 25-30 years old.

Competing for a cash prize, the ‘students’ will have to relive their youth as they take on classic student games and tasks, almost certainly all of which will involve alcohol.

All the drinks are supplied by drinks brand Strongbow in a sponsored partnership, so expect plenty of Edward Cider-hands and Dark Fruits drinking games.

Refreshers Week: What Time? What Channel?

Refreshers Week will air on MTV from Monday, September 24th.

It will start at 10 pm and run for five episodes.

Who are the Celebrity Guests?

Just to shake things up and make it a little more exciting, a host of celebrities will be thrown into the mix to judge competitions and create new drinking games.

We’re not sure if Gemma Collins actually went to university – or school – but she is one of the famous faces set to appear.

Also, look out for Maggie from TV series How Clean is Your House. She’s sure to be a right hoot with the Freshers.

Who is the TV Presenter?

Fans of Channel 4 series Friday Night Dinner will instantly recognise the Refreshers Week presenter.

His name is Tom Rosenthal and he plays Johnny in the series.

Tom is also an actor on Plebs and a stand-up comedian.
