It looks like Christmas has come early as ITV2 have announced a special Love Island Christmas reunion episode!
Although the majority of series 4 couples have split up since leaving the villa, ITV producers think it’s a great idea to chuck the cast into the same room for a very awkward knees-up. And we couldn’t agree more!
Here is everything you need to know about the Love Island Christmas reunion.
When is the Love Island Christmas Reunion?
The Love Island Christmas Special will air on Monday, December 17th.
The 95-minute show will air on ITV2 from 9 pm.
If you missed the episode, you can catch up on the ITV Hub.
Reason 1: Revenge Recouplings
Everybody knows that meeting up with an ex-boyfriend or girlfriend undoubtedly ends up with a huge argument.
The opportunity to bundle together all of the Love Island couples that have split up is ingenious. We can’t wait to see who attempts to get their own back by flirting with other singletons.
Could Old Laura get back at Paul by rekindling her flame with Jack Fowler?
And what about the fringe cast members – could Eyal Booker or Niall Aslam swoop in for the likes of Alexandra Cane?
Reason 2: Jack and Dani Back on TV!
Ever since Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer left Love Island viewers have been desperate to see the couple back on TV.
However, Jack and Dani dropped the biggest bombshell of 2018 when they announced they had split up just a couple of weeks before Christmas.
Dani then denied the fact they had split up, explaining that she was just angry with her BF and lashed out in super-dramatic fashion.
Together or not – Team Jani will still love to see them on TV again.
Reason 3: Loyal Georgia
One of the most recent Love Island breakups was that of Georgia Steel and Sam Bird.
According to reports, Georgia stayed the night at her ex-boyfriend’s house, although she claims that she slept in a spare room.
Loyal eh? Someone has to bring that up!

Reason 4: Born-again Adam Collard!
Who would have thought that Adam Collard and Zara McDermott would be one of the last survival Love Island couples?
Despite admitting on the show that he had slept with more than 300 women, it seems like Adam is a born-again virgin.
We can’t wait to see him back on the show. Perhaps he has ‘found God’ and is a completely new man!
Reason 5: Reuniting the Lads
It often felt as if the core group of guys didn’t get enough airtime in season 4.
Jack Fowler, Wes Nelson and Jack Fincham were a hilarious triple-act and we hope there is some added airtime to capture them messing around and practising impressions.
