X Factor star Acacia is one half of group A Star.

Also known as Acacia and Aaliyah, the pair were told to join forces in week two of the auditions and haven’t looked back.

Despite having a combined age of under 30 years old, a series of naturally in-sync performances has seen the two teens shoot up the popularity ranks on X Factor.

Teenage Sensation

You’d be tricked into thinking that Acacia was in her mid-20’s based on her powerful and soulful singing voice.

However, she’s just 15 years old!

Here she is in her audition, where Simon Cowell decided to put her in a group with Aaliyah Robinson.

Lancashire Lass

The singing duo are from very different ends of the U.K, with Aaliyah hailing from North London and Acacia born and bred in Lancashire.

Acacia is from a small town called Leyland.

Teen Star!

And we don’t literally mean that she is a teenage singing superstar!

Acacia won 2018 singing and dancing competition TeenStar.

She performed her own creative cover of Bob Dylan’s Make you feel my Love in the final.

The competition is nationwide and had 10,000 entrants.

It certainly isn’t anything in comparison to X Factor, though, considering the prize money was £250!

Family of Three

Acacia comes from a family of three.

There’s mum and dad Gladys and Karl, with eight-year-old brother Karel.

Mixed Heritage?

Acacia’s Instagram bio has two flags, with often hints at a multicultural heritage.

In this instance, Acacia could have both an Austrian and Kenyan heritage along with her British roots.
