Joey Essex has proved a fan favourite on new E4 series Five Star Hotel, not least because of his unique vocabulary.
The Only Way is Essex star has bamboozled Made in Chelsea lad Spencer Matthews with his unique terminology on more than one occasion, and confused guests with his selection of, shall we say, “niche” phrases.
Welcome to a world of reem wepskini’s…
1. Cupid?
Joey was talking up his matchmaking skills, likening himself to a certain god of desire.
No, not Cupid…
“I think that will make me a proper Q-tip.”

2. Philosophical Joey
Joey threw us a curveball when he attempted to get all physiological in episode two of Five Star Hotel.
His choice of words wasn’t that bizarre, it was the combo that made no sense.
“Live, love, believe.”

3. Bust a Rhyme
Joey often feels that his vocabulary packs an extra punch when he spits his lines with a rhyme.
For instance when he’s describing co-star Ashley Cain as if it’s a 1990’s hip-hop verse.
“He thinks he’s the big man because he’s got a beard. Alcohol makes his face look weird – know what I’m saying?”

Naturally, Spence had no idea what he was on about…

4. Emoji Talk
We’ve all met someone who spells L-O-L out loud when they talk. But, referencing an emoji is taking things to a whole new level.
Here’s Joey effortlessly slipping this into conversation ?.
“Hands up emoji to Connor.”

5. Weapon in a Bikini
The world has been desperately searching for a term to describe a “weapon” in a bikini, right?
Fortunately, Joey gifted us with wepskini, which we imagine will sneak into the Oxford dictionary by 2019.
“Are the wepskinis coming on the boat with us?”

Naturally, Spence had no idea what he was on about…

6. Vegetable Chat
Few people use vegetables in their everyday language, and although we’re not sure if Joey knows that a potato is a vegetable, he did pull out this banger… and mash.
“He’s pulled an absolute salted potato. Hopefully we get some potatoes check in.”

7. Hype Hype!
During episode six, Joey proved that he is quality at organising parties.
Spelling, however, well that’s something he’s not so good at that…
“It’s kicking off. O-R-F”
Here’s to the one and only Joey Essex, current Five Star Hotel employee of the week!
