England manager Gareth Southgate has had a year to remember.
After leading the England national team to the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Gareth was also honoured with the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Coach Award earlier this month (December).

Who is Gareth Southgate?
Gareth Southgate is the current England national team football manager.
He was appointed in 2016 having managed the England under 21s side for three years. Prior to that, he was Middlesborough manager between 2006-2009.
His success with England over summer 2018 made him only the third England manager to ever reach the World Cup semi-finals, taking England to their highest tournament finish since 1990.
Previously, Gareth was a professional football player with a career that spanned almost 20 years.
He played for Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Middlesbrough and retired in 2006 having made 57 appearances for the England national team himself.

Gareth Southgate was born on September 3rd, 1970.
This makes him 48 years old and a Virgo.
The England boss started his player career aged 18 and retired with Middlesborough in 2006 when he was 36.
