Both the boys and girls have enjoyed their fair share of victories when it comes to the Survival Of The Fittest challenges.
However, when it comes to poor David Lundy and Tristan Jones, the pair have been cited as the “weaklings” of the group – and episode 17 showed us exactly why.
Recently, it was the females who were basking in glory having claimed two consecutive wins, before the boys came storming back to reignite their competitive side with a victory.
However, on episode 17 of the ITV2 series and David and Tristan were completely humiliated, proving they may not have a brain cell between them.
Although the episode was heavy on bickering, with Warren Phillips and Callum Pardoe clashing over female rival Mariam Musa, what was missed amid the drama was two geezers proving themselves horrendously stupid.
Titanic Strength – Tiny Brain
While the boys messed around pretending to “knight one other”, the girls talked over their game plan saying how “whenever the challenge is tactical” they always win.
Fortunately for them, the challenge was to stand in a boat and untie balls from outside, throwing them into crates a few metres away. However, the boat had a hole and was sinking.
Okay, so it doesn’t sound that tactical, but what the boys did next was dumbfounding . . .
Heavy-set bodybuilder David Lundy decided to stand at the very front of his vessel, forcing it to submerge further into the water, leaving their female rivals to break down in hysterics, laughing at the stupidity of their male counterparts.
Eventually, even Tristan joined David at the front of the boat, and Mariam couldn’t contain her laughter during a piece to camera interview.
Hayley proved a bit of a netball hero with her stunning accuracy, even leading the commonly boastful Calum to say:
“That Hayley is a pure machine, she’s a warrior, a animal, a beast.”
On the other hand, Tristan proved utterly useless with his throwing skills, blaming his alpha male superior strength for the lack of balls in the hole.
Yeah, nice one Trist.
The boys eventually sunk their ship and lost 10-7, with the girls giggling away at their easiest victory of the series so far.
