The Channel 4 sitcom The IT Crowd became a cult classic after it’s original TV run back in 2006.

The show lasted four seasons until 2010 and stars of the sitcom, such as Chris O’Dowd, went on to enjoy successful careers in both film and television.

Will The IT Crowd return for season 5?

There are currently no plans for The IT Crowd season 5.

However, according to the Express, a US version of the original sitcom is currently in production.

The American IT Crowd is yet to receive an official start date, however, it is expected to begin sometime in 2019.

Who stars in the American IT Crowd?

The cast for the upcoming US version is yet to be announced.

However, the show’s original creator, Graham Linehan, will work on the US version as a writer and executive producer.

An American version of the hit sitcom was already created back in 2006 and starred Richard Ayoade as the character of Moss. However, the series never made it to television.
