Who is Max Parker?

Max Parker is Steph and Dom’s 18-year-old son.

In his childhood, Max suffered a series of serious seizures.

They were so severe that it damaged his brain, leaving him with a mental age of five.

Max still suffers up to 130 seizures a day, any of which could be fatal. With conventional drugs tainted by powerful side effects, Dom and Steph started to look at other options in 2018.

Can Cannabis Save Our Son?

The 60-minute episode will explore the possibility of curing Max through medical marijuana.

Medicinal marijuana is used across the world to help reduce or even eliminate deadly seizures.

Although often in limited cases, it became legal to prescribe medical cannabis in the U.K in November 2018.

Can Cannabis Save Our Son? follows Steph and Dom as they explore this option, hoping to give their son a better quality of life.

They hope that cannabidiol (CBD) oil, a non-intoxicating marijuana extract, can help to ease Max’s seizures in a more natural and less harmful way than some of the conventional drugs that they have been trying for more than 10 years.
