Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood’s constant arguments finally came to a ferocious end as we witnessed the pair breaking up for good in the final episode of Chris & Olivia: Crackin’ On.
The ITVbe series lasted just three episode before coming to its climax, as Chris and Liv failed to make things work living under the same roof and ended their relationship.
All of their Love Island romance was totally forgotten as a teary end to the series saw the pair realise their relationship was no-longer salvageable.
I’d rather be alone for the rest of my life than have a relationship like #ChrisAndOlivia

"I guess you got what you wanted" that's her true nasty vindictive streak #ChrisAndOlivia

The definition of an unhealthy relationship is when one partner says ‘When it’s good it’s really good, but when it’s bad it’s really bad’. You will always choose to ignore the bad in a relationship with someone you love. #ChrisAndOlivia

Phase 1: Fight in Public
Chris and Olivia’s final argument erupted in spectacular style during their guest appearance at the National Television Awards.
While Crackin’ On didn’t have footage of the events, the media went to town with their coverage of Chris apparently shouting at Liv for flirting with guests at the after party.
It’s brewing!!! Oh god I’m hiding behind the sofa!!! #ChrisAndOlivia

Phase 2: Grab Mum’s Advice
From here, the drama was stacked on top of more drama as both Chris and Olivia reported to the press to have their say on the story.
With a break-up now fully on the cards, Olivia caught up with her mum, who didn’t hold her tongue when it came to unleashing her opinion on Chris.
For the record, this isn’t how a potential mother-in-law should speak about you…
Phase 3: Let it All Out
In the final scene, Chris sat at home waiting to confront Olivia on tweets she had sent to her ex-boyfriend.
Ten metres outside on the front drive, however, and Liv was sat in her car, coursing with anger.
She flicked through her phone, reading new stories that insinuated that she had been cheating.
Quotes for this story had come from Chris.
Liv said: “I’m not interested now, in anything else. I couldn’t give a f*ck about the tweets. I’m literally done. And I should have done this weeks and months ago.”
Bring on the mother of all storms…
The pair vented their anger over different stories that had leaked to the press, with Olivia citing Chris’s story on her “inappropriate tweets” and Chris enquiring as to how there was a story saying that he had “dumped Liv by a text”.
The scene became increasingly uncomfortable as voices were hiked up to a decibel beyond aggressive and previous issues, including rumours that Chris “kissed a girl” on a night out, resurfaced.
Teary-eyed and boiling with anger, the pair exchanged spiteful curse words, before Chris laid a final foul blow.

Olivia bit back with “you’re f*cking mean” and “you’ve always been f*cking nasty” as many viewers felt the tension was too much to continue watching.
Liv stormed off from the conversation, flinging boxes to the floor and screaming “after all the stuff I’ve covered up for you”.
Phase 4: It’s Too Late
The Love Island lovers sat down for a less heated chat where they both confessed that things weren’t right and that neither of them were truly happy.
Both tried to hold back their tears as the end drew near…

The series ended as Olivia drove away from the house, setting course for her own flat while admitting that it was “all over”.
Farewell, Chris and Olivia.
Deciding to end their relationship was genuinely the only grown up thing Chris has done, have to start somewhere ??♀️ #ChrisAndOlivia
