First Dates is back with a bang, with the first episode of series 11 airing on Monday night (October 29th).
To celebrate the new series on Channel 4, we thought it’s the perfect time to cast our minds back to the last season that was on air, First Dates Hotel.
In particular, the hero of the season, Emma.
Policewoman Emma blew away viewers with her charming, excitable, confident and brave personality, while also proving the ultimate tattoo inspiration.
But that’s not the main reason this blonde-haired beauty is a true inspiration to the world…
I think we can all agree that Emma is FABULOUS! 🙌 #FirstDatesHotel

Meet the World’s Coolest Policewoman
We were first introduced to Emma at the First Dates Hotel reception, where she blew away the receptionist with her floaty dress and glamorous Marilyn Monroe hairstyle.
Needless to say, Emma didn’t cop the usual police officer look…
Her Inspirational Tattoo Story
Tattoo tales rarely pack much of an emotional punch.
In fact, most tattooed youngsters have either a drunken piece of ink that they got on holiday or simply fail to explain the meaning behind their compass + rose petal full-sleeve.
Emma sported what looked like antlers across her chest, stretching from shoulder to shoulder and all the way down to her breastplate.
The story behind it…
Emma said: I’ve been single for five years now. I split up from my husband. The relationship was very one-sided – nothing was ever good enough.”
Emma and Luke Are Perfect
Emma told the First Dates Hotel that she wanted “a big strong Viking sort of guy” although she also wanted someone who was soft and tender on the inside.
Like this guy?
The pair instantly giggled in frenzies of excitement as they shared a couple glasses of Prosecco at the bar.
Luke even picking up on Emma’s painted nails and adding “OMG they’re so amazing”.
Luke the Ultimate Dad
Luke was quick to announce that he has two kids and that his children are the most important aspect of his life.
Of course, his passionate commitment and loving, mature outlook on life blew away Emma.
Not to mention us…
Emma the Ultimate Inspiration
The pair clicked effortlessly over dinner as they switched between engaging and serious topics while laughing and flirting in between.
Emma opened up about a troubled past, where she was forced to live with her grandparents because of her mum’s drug abuse.
It was the reason she ended up joining the force so young.
Emma said: I remember walking into this room around nine years old. There was a mattress on the middle of the floor and people that I’d never seen before sat around this mattress with tourniquets, injecting drugs into their veins.”
A First Date to Remember
The date finished with both of them agreeing “hell yeah” that they wanted to see each other again.
Emma and Luke bowed out of the restaurant in style and continued dating while in the U.K.
