Age is Just a Number
The adorable 97-year-old admitted to feeling “30 years old” and jokingly confessed to the audience that he “still had all of his marbles”.

Dealing With Heartbreak
In a heartfelt confession, Richard explained how he had been single for five years, ever since his wife passed away through pneumonia.
Unfortunately, a lonely time for the elderly…

But, even before Richard’s tragic second marriage, his first love was taken away from him through illness.
Richard revealed the moment he found out that his wife had cancer in a heart-wrenching piece to camera.
She passed away eight months later.
Richard’s date with 79-year-old Ruth had First Dates fans welling up with emotion as they greeted one-other with warmth and discussed their common interests over dinner.

They also had plenty in common when it came to slamming the youths – with their obsessed clicking on their mobile phones and loud music!

Ruth even proved that there’s always time for a woman to be a modern lady, even if they’re almost in their 80’s.
