Fans of First Dates had their hearts broken when the ‘perfect couple’ decided not to carry on dating.
Cheeky chappy Adam met Leena during Channel 4’s episode four, with instant chemistry making them social media favourites.
However, following a very short and blunt catchup clip that announced there was no second date, viewers felt a little cheated.
Talk about emotional investment…
adam and leena not continuing to date has made me realise love is a myth and i’m going to die alone #firstdates

Hackney trading boy Adam was on the quest for love having “never been on a date with a girl”, instead choosing to spend his time “partying with friends in Ibiza”.
His date, 28-year-old Leena, was loud and lively on camera, although a self-confessed “realist” when it came to her looks.
Meaning she understands that there is only one Queen B…
The date soon took a turn as Adam opened up about a life-changing experience while on a work trip to New York.
Adam randomly collapsed while he was visiting his company’s U.S offices.
He was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Although, in true Hackney-boy style, Adam packed his traumatic Big Apple story with positivity and a pinch of enlightening humour.
Just watched @FirstDates
I don’t know you @CarrollVSCancer but you came across brilliantly. Good luck to you Adam! 👍🏼

Adam needed two brain surgeries in the space of seven days.
The traumatic experience sparked a new outlook on life for Adam, who is now looking for a “house, missus and kids”.
He even ran a marathon just three months after returning from brain surgery, raising 12k along the way.
What a hero…
Leena, who had a lump removed from her breast when she was 23, was in awe of her date’s positive outlook on life.
Leena said: You either lie in bed and feel sorry for yourself and let everything pass you by, or you take a hold of what’s happening.”
The pair joked about their traumatic experiences, complete with impressions on how they look when they cry.
Impressions on a first date basically spells love.
Leena and Adam seem so genuine, I love them together #FirstDates

The pair agreed to see one-other again, chirping “yes” in synchronised harmony as they said their final piece to camera.
There was even room for a cheeky kiss on cheek.
Aww I’m loving Leena & Adam on #FirstDates – I hope it ends well for them!

However, hearts were broken in the catch-up clip, where there was one blunt sentence and no catchup pictures.
Where are the images of them at the altar?
And with all their little babies?
Oh no Adam and Leena! Why??? 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭#FirstDates
