MTV’s Geordie Shore surprised audiences with an earlier start date for series 19 – luckily we didn’t have to wait until summer for their usual radgie antics to be brought to our screens!
Most of the usual cast have returned including the regulars Sophie Kasaei, Sam Gowland, Nathan Henry and Chloe Ferry, but this time around four newbies have been thrown into the mix.

Who is on series 19?
Sophie Kasaei posted to Instagram stating that she was ‘filming with the girl gang’. The photo included Geordie Shore regulars Abbie Holborn and Holly Hagan as well as two newcomers – Bethan Kershaw and Tahlia Chung.
As well as Bethan and Tahlia, Natalie Phillips and Beau Brennan are said to be joining the cast according to Chronicle Live.
But Abbie and Holly seem to be recurring on the show as guests rather than full-time cast members, to the disappointment of many fans.
By the looks of things, series 18 newcomer Faith Mullen isn’t returning for series 19.
Series 19: best bits of the drama
Despite only being four episodes in, series 19 has proven to be one of the show’s most dramatic.
New lad Beau has stirred things up in the house by tashing on with multiple of the Geordie Shore housemates in the two days he’d been in the house… Bethan, Abbie and Tahlia!
There were tears and tantrums and a massive fight between best pals Nathan and Chloe.
Relationship troubles
This series has already proven to be heartbreaking as well.
Fans were devastated to see Nathan break down to newbie Natalie over his breakup.
And we can’t leave out the fight that erupted between loved-up couple Chloe and Sam in episode 4 which resulted in Chloe demanding to go on a “break” and lots of tears.
But Sophie is also finding it incredibly difficult being away from new boyfriend Jay, so difficult there’s a chance she may leave the Geordie Shore house!
What will happen next?
By episode 4, things appear to be getting serious between Bethan and Beau. But the path to romance in this house of radgies is never smooth, so this relationship is probably set for a few bumps in the road.
However, the couple is now officially dating post-filming, so it would seem there’s going to be a happy ending in sight!
In Bethan’s recent post to Insta of the family at their ‘fresher’ themed house party, Natalie commented “Nothing but love here”, so things are looking up for the Geordie family.

When is Geordie Shore on TV?
Brand new episodes of Geordie Shore air on MTV every Tuesday at 10 pm from April 9th.
Repeat episodes will then show throughout the week and on the primetime slot of Saturdays at 9 pm.
It is unconfirmed how many episodes will be in this series, but we can expect at least ten!
