Some of you may be wondering who plays the priest in Fleabag, and you’ll definitely recognise him from some other terrific shows.
It’s arguably one of the sharpest comedies on telly right now. That’s pretty impressive because it feels like we’re only getting started.

Fleabag season 2: New cast
Of course, Phoebe-Walter Bridge soared back into the screen in the lead role. She still maintains her position as the show’s writer/creator.
She returned for season two with some new faces. Kristin Scott Thomas now stars, who you may know from such recent films as The Darkest Hour and Tomb Raider.
Then we have Fiona Shaw. She’s perhaps best known for the role of Petunia Dursley in the Harry Potter films.
This brings us to consider the arrival of series breakout; the priest.
Who plays the priest in Fleabag?
The priest is played by Irish born actor Andrew Scott.
He’s done a terrific job on the Fleabag cast and it’s no surprise…

You may recognise him foremostly from BBC’s Sherlock series. He played Professor Moriarty, the detective’s renowned nemesis.
Then, he also played the antagonistic C in the most recent James Bond film, Spectre.
Other credits include Pride, Locke and Victor Frankenstein.

Will he return for season 3?
Although details are vague, it would be wise to predict he’ll reprise his role in future seasons.
