Carol Vorderman was hit with a typically smarmy Piers Morgan morgan jibe during Tuesday’s (November 7th) episode of Good Morning Britain.
The former Countdown host appeared on the daily ITV show as presenters Piers, Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins discussed The Pride of Britain Awards 2018.
However, viewers couldn’t help but feel Piers was taking a sly dig at Carol as he commented on her age.
Fortunately, Caz had the final say after wowing viewers in a stunning dress at Pride of Britain later that night.
Eat that pie, Piers!

Piers Morgan Comment
Carol and Piers were enjoying a nostalgic trip down memory lane, reminiscing about the time they worked together to first launch The Pride of Britain Awards.
However, it didn’t take Piers long before he chipped in with a joke, commenting on how long it had been since they first presented together.
Piers said:
You’ve done a great job hosting that show for so long now. I won’t say how long, makes us both sound older than we are!
As a few cheeky throwback pictures popped up on screen, Piers continued to dig his grave by adding “you actually look younger now” as Carol appeared in a Spice Girl-styled Union Jack dress and cropped hairdo.
Carol could only laugh awkwardly.
How Old is Carol Vorderman?
Carol Vorderman was born on December 24th, 1960.
This makes her 57 years old and a Capricorn.
Remarkably, Caz has presented on Countdown for more than 25 years, bringing us all the big numbers, small numbers, consonants and vowels between 1982-2008. She landed the role applying for a newspaper ad!
Carol also hosted ITV’s Loose Women from 2011-2014. Her last major TV appearance was two years ago when she finished eighth on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

The Pride of Britain Awards Winners
Despite Piers’s comments, Carol had the last word when she stunned viewers with her figure in an incredible satin dress at The Pride of Britain Awards
Remember, 57 years old!
The Pride of Britain Awards celebrate the extraordinary people within our society. Nominations are sent in by the public before the winners and announced at the ceremony.
Some of the winners from 2018 included The British Cave Rescue Team, who claimed the Outstanding Bravery Award after their rescue mission of the under-16’s Thai football team that was trapped in a cave earlier this year.
The West Midlands Fire Service scooped the Emergency Services Award while there were individual accolades for 11-year-old Ella Chadwick and eight-year-old Max Johnson.
Top work, guys!
