Unfortunately, global streaming giants Netflix have several different versions of their series, documentary, film and TV empire.
Netflix source the rights for shows before distributing them to their international platforms. What’s available on your UK Netflix platform will be different to the USA version.
However, with one tool, you can access the USA Netflix platform from anywhere in the UK. In fact, anywhere in the world!

How to Watch American Netflix
As an example, new Zac Efron movie Extremely Wicked – which chronicles the crimes of Ted Bundy – has been confirmed for the American Netflix platform in 2019.
However, the rights are yet to be confirmed in the UK – and may never be!
Fortunately, you can access USA Netflix by using a VPN tool.
You can purchase a VPN tool for a few pounds per month, which will redirect your VPN to the USA. However, the process means that you still need to pay a full and normal Netflix subscription.
The tool gives you the choice on whether you want to subscribe to American Netflix, UK Netflix… or both!
Step 1: Pick a VPN Tool

However, the cheapest and simplest package is all you need to watch American Netflix.
Step 2: Download and Install
Simply sign up to your chosen VPN tool – usually via one, three, six or 12-month deals – and download the tool.
Step 3: Follow the Instructions
Each VPN tool comes with different guidelines.
However, they’re all relatively easy to follow but may vary depending on whether you have a MacBook or Windows software.
The key is remembering to select ‘USA’ when prompted to select where you would like your new VPN to be registered – this is rerouting your VPN from the UK to the USA.
Step 4: Access American Netflix
With the VPN correctly setup you should now be able to access the Netflix USA.
Of course, you have to subscribe first.
However, going through the subscription process while using the VPN should trick the streaming platform into thinking that you are in the USA.
