Sky Sports have confirmed that they will not show this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) Twenty20 tournament.
The news has left cricket fans across the country somewhat alarmed, as they scurry across the market looking for a new way to watch the 2019/2020 season.

How to watch IPL 2019 in UK – Star Gold UK
Although no-longer on Sky Sports, you can actually find the Indian Premier League via your regular Sky box.
The station that will now broadcast the season, Star Gold UK, can be found on Sky channel number 729.
Alternatively, you can access the IPL on Virgin Media thanks to channel number 801.
How to watch IPL 2019 in UK – Hotstar
To watch the IPL 2019 season online then you are going to need to sign up to Sony’s online streaming platform, Hotstar.
A Hotstar subscription does come at a fee, however, charging £11.99 per month.
You can sign up on a month-by-month basis or grab the entire 12-month deal for a cut-price of £59.99.
The platform is available on PC, tablet, mobile and via an app.
