Fire drills are rarely something that people in the workplace look forward to.
Not only are you forced into scrambling away from the contents of your packed lunch box, but you must march outside into the cold for the first register you’ve heard since secondary school.
It’s all kind of awkward.
But, on Ibiza Weekender, their first ever drill was a moment of hilarious and chaotic madness, complete with screaming and shrieking.
If only every fire drill was like this…

Head rep David had received an important email from the Ibiza Weekender HR, asking him to urgently conduct a fire drill.
And if you don’t believe the Ibiza Weekender HR is real, suck on this…
Equipped with a safety helmet and a megaphone, David certainly looked like an official fire inspector officer.
Albeit, a very sassy fire inspector.
However, nobody was expecting what happened next…
Running from the reception straight towards the reps’ rooms with his siren blaring, David took the ‘urgency’ of the email more than quite literally.
Never red flag an email to El Jefe!

The hilarious scene captured David in one of his many many short shorts, slamming open the curtains and causing an Ibiza-wide state of panic.
As you may have expected, most of the reps screamed in shock as they were awoken at the crack of dawn to the sound of a potentially life-threatening fire.
Of course, not everyone was startled. We haven’t seen Chyna Ellis do anything with haste across series four, let alone get up quickly for a fire drill.
Maybe, just, leave her there, El Jefe…
With just a grand total of five staff members facing evacuation from the bottom floor of a hotel, and to an outside area about 20 metres away, David was not impressed with his team’s final time.
They evacuated in two minutes flat.
If only they had left Chyna behind…
