The Voice UK is back!

Series 8 is here and it’s time to get the vocal cords in check as Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson and Olly Murs are all ready to turn their chairs for the U.K’s next singing superstar.

When Does The Voice Start?

Series 8 of The Voice UK returns to your screen on Saturday, January 5th.

Episode 1 will air from 8 pm – 9:35 pm.

Emma Willis is the show’s host once again supporting the contestants singing their hearts out for a deal with Polydor records.

What Channel is it On?

As normal, The Voice UK will air on ITV.

If you miss an episode you can head over to the ITV Hub to catch up.

Episode 1 will see the blind auditions commence as the hopefuls brave the stage for the chance of a lifetime.

Who Won Last Season?

Series 7 saw Team Tom take the crown as Ruti Olajugbagbe won the show.

She and Tom performed Louis Armstrong’s ‘What a Wonderful World’ during the live final and Ruti went on to be signed to Polydor records.

She also has her own YouTube channel where she often does covers of songs and has said she will be released her own original music in 2019.

It was a close call as Team Will came in second place in 2017 with Donel Mangena.

Donel now has his own single out called ‘Bang Like A Drum’.
