Joey Essex and Spencer Matthews have kissed and made up following a bitter feud that left the Five Star Hotel co-stars at each other’s throats.
The new E4 series has mixed together a cast of varying reality TV stars including Lydia Bright (TOWIE), Holly Hagan (Geordie Shore) and Ashley Cain (MTV ex on the beach).
However, it’s been the stark contrast between the personalities of posh lad Spencer and Essex boy Joey that has hooked viewers in.

But, that’s not to say Spenny and Joey have got along smoothly, with the pair nearly coming to blows in the first few episodes.
Joey had questioned Spencer’s ability to take on the role of hotel manager before the argument hilariously moved on to their differing accents.

Joey pretended to put on Spencer’s posh accent while Spencer replicated Joey’s intense use of Essex slang.
It may sound funny, but Lydia’s face shows just how awkward the scene was…

Episode four was make or break for the dynamic duo, although Spencer didn’t exactly enter the episode with beaming optimism.
Having fractured three ribs during a motorbike accident, Spence sat out the Five Star Hotel hen doo.
He then returned to find penis straw scattered along the floor.
Not good.

The Made in Chelsea star had been taking on the role as ‘hotel manager’ with pride and honour and was left devastated having found out the hen doo was a tacky affair.
It was only a few bubble machines and strippers, Spence.
Spencer said: “I know that’s what they wanted but we should have provided them with something better than they wanted, because they clearly don’t know what a five-star experience is.”

Spencer and Joey were caught on camera voicing their concerns to owner Mariano Armani, with Joey saying that Spencer was too “negative” and Spencer complaining to his boss over Joey’s “terrible” work ethic.
It looked like the pair would clash. Again.

Calm and collected, Spencer approached Joey to make an apology towards the end of the show.
However, the conversation teetered along the brink of turning into an argument, with Spencer and Joey quite literally failing to understand each other.
Spence goes for the handshake, Joey jumps in with a hug…

Twitter was left in stitches, loving the fact that due to their completely contrasting lifestyles, Spenny and Joey can’t have a conversation without bamboozling one other.
