Great British Bake Off star Liam Charles is set to host his own spin-off show, starting tonight (Monday, November 12th) on Channel 4.

Although Liam only finished fifth during GBBO 2017, his charismatic personality made him a stand-out contestant, and viewers have been desperate to see him back on TV ever since.

Liam Bakes is a five-part series that follows the baker’s innovative and inquisitive approach to cooking.

The show is a concoction of pop culture, nostalgia and Liam’s Jamaican heritage.

How to Watch Liam Bakes

The series will air every Monday night on Channel 4.

It starts at 8 pm and lasts for 60 minutes.

Who is Liam Charles?

Before his rise to fame on Great British Bake Off, Liam was an everyday university student.

He studied Drama and Theatre Arts at Goldsmiths, University of London, and graduated in September 2018.

Following his accomplishments on TV, however, Liam released his own cookbook called Liam Charles Cheeky Treats: 70 Brilliant Bakes and Cakes.

He also co-presented the 2018 series of Bake Off The Professionals on Channel 4.

This makes him 21 years old and a Virgo. He was 19 when first appearing on GBBO and the season’s youngest contestant.

Liam was born in Hackney, North London, and has always lived in England’s capital city.

He attributes his creative baking techniques to his younger nephews, who he regularly cooks for while at home.
