Love Island 2017 star Gabby Allen could be the first announced for Celebrity Big Brother 2018.
The blonde-haired 26-year-old finished fourth in Love Island’s series three, enjoying an uber-cute romance with former Blazin’ Squad rapper Marcel Somerville.
That relationship has since ended, however, and Gabby will be looking to dish the dirt on reports that Marcel cheated on her.
Here is everything we know about Gabby’s return to reality TV.
How Did Gabby Allen Earn Her Fame?
Gabby was cast into Love Island series three as one of the original female contestants and enjoyed a strong run in the series.
Her relationship with Marcel was considered cute and cheerful although a strong series saw their romance overshadowed in the final stages.
Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies claimed the 2017 crown, with Gabz and Marcel finishing behind Chirs Hughes and Olivia Attwood and Jamie Jewitt and Camilla Thurlow.
What Happened Next?
Gabby and Marcel continued their romance out of the villa until they broke up a couple of months ago, on May 1st, 2018.
Marcel was caught cheating on Gabby while on holiday in Mexico and admitted to the mistake in a public statement.
A statement read: “Marcel can’t really defend his actions as he knows what he did wrong and will regret it forever. Marcel is upset that he broke the heart of someone he loves and someone that he shared so many special moments with, but with all the good times there are difficult times, and sadly Marcel and Gabby had been in a bad place at this stage.
“Gabby was a special part of my Marcel’s life, and he hopes one day she can find it in herself to forgive him He knows what he did was wrong and is extremely sad about how he has hurt Gabby.”
Gabby in Celebrity Big brother
Gabz will make a great Celebrity Big Brother contestant as she looks to bounce back from her recent relationship trauma.
It’s expected that Gabby will use her time in the house to reveal what really happened between her and Marcel, while some new romantic avenues could also be explored.
As reported by The Sun, a source close to Gabby said: Doing something like Celebrity Big Brother was never on her radar, but after their break up she wanted to do something challenging to help push her out of her comfort zone.
Enough time has passed now and she won’t be afraid to tell all about their failed relationship and the effect it had on her.”
