Love Island’s Kendall Rae-Knight has a huge social media following.
It’s hard to call her a ‘Love Island star’ or even a ‘Love Island flop’ considering she featured on series four for less than one week.
Kendall was dumped on day six and sent tumbling back down to reality. Or, so we thought.
The 26-year-old from Blackpool now has 800,000 followers on Instagram, all thanks to a kiss with Kem Cetinay.
This could be the most valuable kiss in reality TV history…
Kendall Rae-Knight on Love Island
Kendall was dumped from the ITV2 series on day six having felt the wrath of Adam Collard. She initially paired up with Niall Aslam before playing with fire and feeling the burn.
As Adam entered the game, he decided to snatch Kendall for himself. However, while Niall popped off to recouple with Georgia Steel, Adam had a change of heart four days later, selecting Rosie Williams in the recoupling and subsequently giving Kendall the boot.
This face says it all…
Kendall and Kem at the Airport
During Kendall’s short time in the house, there were rumours that she was friends with Love Island series three star Kem Cetinay.
These rumours were confirmed as Kem was spotted at the airport during Kendall’s return to U.K, while he was also there to offer his friend ‘support’ during the Love Island After Sun episodes.
Kendall’s Instagram page started to grow at a rapid pace.
Kem and Kendall Kiss
The rumours soon snowballed, however, and it was speculated that Kem and Kendall shared a kissed.
Kendall’s booming Instagram page continued to take off, with pictures of her and Kem adding fuel to the fire.
Chuck in some extensive media work and, somehow, Kendall now has almost one million Instagram followers!
She has since confirmed the kiss with Kem too, so it’s been win-win for Kendall over the past eight weeks.
Kendall’s Instagram Page
Kendall’s connection to Kem Cetinay can’t be underestimated, especially when we compare the part-time model and retail manager to other Love Island 2018 stars.
She nearly has as many followers as Josh Denzel (874k), who made the Love Island 2018 final, and a huge amount more than the likes of Charlie Brake, Sam Bird, Hayley Hughes and Frankie Foster.
So, remember kids, see a celebrity – grab a snog!
