Episode seven of Made in Chelsea saw Jamie Laing attempt to sabotage Harry Baron’s relationship.
The MIC star and mega-rich McVitie’s man was all over Harry’s girlfriend, Melissa Tattam, taking her out for a very casual ‘business dinner’ while turning up at her workplace for an unscheduled flirt.
The reason for his snakiness?
All roads lead back to Frankie Gaff…
I smell a dose of karma on route with Jamie and Harry #MadeInChelsea

A Bitter Rivalry
You may have thought that Jamie’s dislike of Harry was nothing more than a general co-star feud.
This rivalry runs far deeper.
Of course, neither Jamie or Hazza are everyone’s cup of tea, with a clear separation between friendship groups.
You wouldn’t catch Olivia Bentley hanging about in J-stars mansion, for instance…
Jamie’s bitter dislike of Harry comes across as venomous and spiteful.
Sure, we’d all like to wipe that smug look from Harry’s face at times, but Jamie’s dislike of Harry is borderline hatred.
Harry is the most smug bastard to have ever walked the planet #MadeInChelsea

Series 14 Spark
The spark that ignited this clash of the titans was lit in series 14, almost exactly 12 months ago.
The moment came at a dinner party, where Jamie’s girlfriend at the time, Frankie Gaff, was called out for flirting with Mr Baron during a night out.
Harry simply gloated in Jamie’s face, stirring the pot by adding his own twists to the events.

Watch the scene here:
Jamie sat and listened to the various versions of Harry flirting with Frankie before eventually snapping, saying “shut the f*** up everyone” and branding Harry a “f**king w**ker”.
Frankie Gaff Dillema
The feud continued throughout the series with Harry refusing to suppress his fondness for Frankie, despite in a relationship himself.
Jamie did not like this.
Jamie and Frankie have now split up, and it appears that J-star has moved his attention to getting his own back on Harry.
By Jamie consistently telling Harry that he fancies his girlfriend, Melissa, it kind of makes it 1-1.
And if J-star can actually win over Melissa, then he’d be more than a few goals ahead.
Jamie would definitely use Melissa to get back Harry for him flirting with Frankie when they were going out #MadeInChelsea

Sure, it’s a horrendously unhealthy dynamic that sees the pair continuously out to ruin one-others relationship, but it does make for some entertaining reality TV.
