Meet BGT star Akshat Singh on Instagram - the latest Golden Buzzer act through the semi-final!

Britain’s Got Talent is back on our TV screens and that means a whole new host of Golden Buzzer acts being sent straight to the series semi-finals.

In episode 3 dancing sensation Akshat Singh joined the exclusive Golden Buzzer club when Ant and Dec were blown away by his impressive moves.

Who is Akshat Singh?

Akshat Singh is a 13-year-old dancer who lit up the stage on Britain’s Got Talent 2019 dancing to a Bollywood/Nicki Minaj mashup.

He pulled on the judge’s heartstrings when he said his two goals in life were “To make everyone happy and make sure they know that nothing is impossible in life,”.

Where is he from?

Dance master Akshat is from Mumbai in India.

He is already pretty well-known at home for his powerful dance moves, breaking through on talent show Dance Bengala Dance in 2011.

He has since gone on to appear on multiple local TV shows and even star in two big films!

What other shows has he been on?

Although British viewers may have just been seeing Akshat for the first time on BGT, he has already made quite a name for himself worldwide.

In 2014, he wowed audiences on India’s Got Talent and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (India’s answer to Strictly Come Dancing).

Quickly becoming a viral sensation, he then landed a spot of The Ellen Show, flying over to LA to perform on her famous chat show.

In 2018 he went on impress judges down under on Australian show Little Big Shots, before heading to the UK in 2019 to enter BGT.
