The competition is well underway, as series 14 kickstarted back on Wednesday, March 20th.
One of the new contestants is Gordon Jones, fighting for the Scottish spot in the show.
But will he be able to hold his nerve against returning Great British Menu stars Lorna McNee and Ben Reade?

Who is Gordon Jones?
Gordon is competing in the Scotland heat of the competition.
He was born in Birmingham but moved to Banffshire, Scotland at the age of seven.
However, Gordon continued his culinary journey in England and returned to Birmingham to study at the Birmingham College of Food from 1999 – 2001.
Now settled in England, Gordon is currently head chef at his own restaurant, Menu Gordon Jones, in Bath.
Where has Gordon worked?
Gordon worked under Michelin-starred Martin Wishart in Edinburgh after graduating from college.
After that, he continued his culinary journey working with Michelin-starred Martin Blunos at Blunos in Bath.
So Gordon has certainly had lots of experience working with acclaimed chefs!
And so much so that the talent has rubbed off on him and now Gordon holds two Rosettes himself.
Gordon Jones: awards
Gordon’s success extends beyond those two Rosettes.
He has won numerous awards over the years including Tatler Restaurant Awards – Best of British Category 2016 and The Good Food Guide 2015 South West Restaurant of the Year.
No wonder he’s tough competition on the Great British Menu!
