Meet the cast of Zomboat on Instagram - ITV2's brand new zombie comedy!

ITV2 is back with a brand new comedy, and this time it’s all about flesh-eating zombies.

The new sitcom is scheduled to air later this year and will follow a group of Birmingham youngsters as they try to flee a zombie apocalypse on a canal boat.

Leah Brotherhead

Joining the cast of Zomboat! as one of the show’s lead characters is White Gold star Leah Brotherhead.

Leah will take on the role of Kat, a computer game addict who discovers there is a zombie apocalypse afoot in the streets of Birmingham.

Hamza Jeetooa

Joining the cast for some zombie-filled action is Doctor Who star Hamza Jeetooa.

Hamza will play Sunny, who producers describe as “a wannabe misanthrope who’d rather sit out the apocalypse from the comfort of his sofa.”

Ryan McKen

White Dragon star Ryan McKen will be joining the cast of Zomboat this Autumn as gym bunny, Amar.

Amar is described as an “upbeat-and-ready-to-face-things-head-on character”, meaning he will probably be the most involved in the zombie slaying.

Cara Theobold

Playing Kat’s older sister is Downton Abbey and Manhunt star Cara Theobold.

The 29-year-old actress will join the cast as Jo, who returns from a season as a club rep to find Birmingham has been taken over by zombies.
