Famous and Fighting crime launched on Channel 4 on Monday, February 11th.

The four-part series features a group of celebrities as they join forces with the Cambridge Constabulary Unit to experience life as a special constable.

Here’s everything you need to know about the fab five with an exclusive Reality Titbit interview with one of the police officers from the show.

Katie Piper.

Famous and Fighting Crime: Police Officers

The force that features on the Channel 4 series is the Cambridge Constabulary Unit.

According to their official website, the most common crimes in the area are anti-social behaviour and violence and sexual offences.

Reality Titbit spoke to volunteer Special Constable Ann Richardson about her experience on the show.

She said:

I loved working with Jamie (Laing), he took the role really seriously and also saw the funny side of things, which is essential when working for the police. Katie (Piper) was shocked at some of the things she saw but wanted to help everyone, she has a kind heart .

If I could work with any other celebrity it would have to be Piers Morga.  He does so many crime programmes and I would love to see him on the front line himself.

You here the Piers, Famous and Fighting Crime season 2 is calling!

Famous and Fighting Crime: Cast

The five celebrities donning the blue and white come from every corner of the reality TV sphere.

Some look like they could be in their element with a walkie talkie and high-vis jacket while others could be well out of their depth.

Jamie Laing is the first name on the teamsheet and he’s a very well known celeb.

However, he’s never really been known for sliding across the bonnet of cop cars and running down escaped convicts.

The sweet-natured 30-year-old is the star of E4 series Made in Chelsea and is known to live a life of luxury and ease as heir to the McVities dynasty.

Katie Piper is an English TV presenter and model.

There’s no doubt that her journey on Famous and Fighting Crime will have a personal touch after she was victim to a life-changing acid attack in 2008.

We can’t wait to see her in action.

Sandi Bogle is a reality TV personality who has appeared on Channel 4 series Gogglebox and Celebs Go Farming and Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 5.

She was one of the most-loved stars on Gogglebox before she quit in 2017 and has since gone on to acting.

In episode 2 of the series, Sandi opened up about how her young nephew died as the result of a knife crime

Penny Lancaster is an interesting cast member with little TV fame in these sort of environments.

Married to Sir Rod Stewart, the 47-year-old is famous for her role hosting on Loose Women.

Marcus Brigstocke is a comedian who you will recognise from stand-up shows such as Live at the Apollo and panel series like Would I Lie to You?

Towering at over 6ft 2, he’s sure to make a commanding figure in uniform. Whether jokes will break the ice during tense situations remains to be seen.
