Child Genius: William
William’s full name is William Harwood and he is from Mansfield, a market town in Nottinghamshire, England.
He is only twelve year’s old and yet his knowledge shines far beyond his years.
William is currently only in year seven at secondary school. He attended High Oakham Primary School, although we imagine it was hardly challenging.
Thanks for all your lovely comments about #ChildGenius. It’s on every night this week at 8pm on Channel 4.

William: Child Genius Talents
Although the show demands much of its contestants in terms of variation, everyone has their talents.
It’s clear to see that William’s is languages. He can speak Japanese, French and Zulu. Incredible!
Yet, his talents extend far beyond this. The series tests contestants across a range of subjects.
Here he is pictured below (back row, fourth in):

William: Child Genius Competiton
The young teenager is no stranger to talent shows.
He actually came second place in a junior language challenge back in 2012. This is no surprise and would have played a huge role is his linguistic flair.
It’s no surprise he was one of just nineteen nominated contestants. These, of course, were carefully selected from hundreds of applicants.

It’s early to call, but William is certainly a strong contender.
