Fans of Celebs Go Dating were caught off guard when the teaser trailer to the grand finale pictured Olivia Attwood and Sam Craske getting close.
The pair of celebrities have both signed up to the dating show in order to find love. However, they are supposed to fall head over heels for a member of the public and not each other!
Despite this, Diversity performer Sam has admitted to fancying Olivia.
And, with the pair failing to find any suitable candidates in Celebs Go Dating season 5 so far, why don’t they just go to final in Crete together?
Could Sam and Olivia Go to Crete Together?
According to the show, both Sam and Olivia are keen to go on a date, although the agency stipulates that co-stars cannot date each other.
This means that Olivia Attwood is likely to rock up to the Greek island of Crete with Tommy, while Sam is still yet to meet anyone who he instantly connects with.
Speaking of his admiration of Liv, Sam exclusively said to Ok! Magazine online:
Obviously the girls attractive, she’s a very beautiful girl. We do get on and that, and it’s nice to hear when someone you think is gorgeous says that they want to date you.
In Reality…
The reality of the whole Olivia Attwood and Sam Craske saga is pretty simple.
Filming for Celebs Go Dating concluded several months ago, meaning that if the pair wanted to go on a date then nothing would have stopped them over summer.
Whether there are flashes of romance during the Celebs Go Dating final or not, the pair are 100% not dating now.

In fact, the only two couples who look as if they are still in touch is Amy Tapper and Ace Hearn!
At least we know who Amy is taking to Crete, then!
Celebs Go Dating Fails
Although considered a dating show, you have to admit that the Channel 4 series seems to be more about ‘entertainment’ than finding love.
Someone always brings two girls to the grand final abroad – last season Sam Thompson, this year Callum Izzard – while two celebs apparently have a ‘brief romance’ in each series.
There have been zero love success stories since the show launched in 2013!
When is the Celebs Go Dating Final?
Episode 20, the final of Celebs Go Dating, is set to air on Thursday, November 8th.
The series 5 finale in Crete will air for 60 minutes on Channel 4 from 10 pm.
